St. Michael and the Maytag Man:

One of the unfortunate developments after the 60's, was the dropping of the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel. Yes there are some of us who say this prayer daily, but I'm sure many don't anymore. Hopefully, when the Holy Father issues his Motu Proprio, allowing the Traditional Mass to be celebrated more often, many people wil return to this needed devotion to the Prince of the choirs of Angels.

PRAYER TO
SAINT MICHAEL
THE ARCHANGEL

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen..
