Solemn High Mass at Mission San Juan Bautista

End of a California Pilgrimage

Next week for the feast of Christ the King, the Latin Mass community of
San Juan Bautista (just east of Monterey Bay) will host a pilgrimage of the Fraternal Society of St.Peter, and will have a solemn sung High Mass with three priests celebrating, with the main celebrant being Fr. James Fryar FSSP of
Sarasota, Florida.

Fr. Fryar has been leading a pilgrimage of 12 of the 21 California
Missions, with the last stop being Mission San Juan Bautista.

......................................................................
Oculi omnium in te sperant,
et tu das illis escam tempore suo.
Tu aperis manum tuam,
et satias cum benevolentia omne vivens.
Justus est Dominus in omnibus viis suis,
et sanctus in omnibus operibus suis.
Prope est Dominus omnibus invocantibus eum,
omnibus invocantibus eum sincere.

Quietly, Lord, Thy creatures raise their eyes to Thee, and Thou grantest
them, in due time, their nourishment, ready to open Thy hand, and fill
with Thy blessing all that lives.
So faithful the Lord is in all He does, so gracious in all His dealings.
The Lord draws near to every man that calls upon Him, will he but call
upon Him with a true heart.
