Welcome to my Blog! I read where there was a need for English Propers for the Traditional (1962 Missale Romanum - Tridentine) Latin Mass, so I will try posting the prayers and readings each day, if they are available. I will also post some other writings regarding the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the greatest Act of Worship we can offer to Almighty God and the closest we can get to Heaven!

FERIAL DAY (Mass of preceding Sunday)
[Requiem or Votive Mass allowed]
Maybe you can help me. I am looking for the readings for a Requiem Mass. We had one at our TLM oratory this morning and I got lost. Any help would be appreciated as to where to turn.
Not sure myself although if the Mass of the preceding Sunday is celebrated, then the readings would be the same ones used at that Mass. If it is a Saints Mass, then there are special readings assigned to the Saint. It's usually all listed in a Missal. I use two different ones for this blog: The Daily Missal (1962) from Baronius Press & Daily Missal of the Mystical Body (1959) from P. J. Kenedy & Sons, Publishers to the Holy See.
Please no anonymous comments. I require at least some way for people to address each other personally and courteously. Having some name or handle helps.
