INTRODUCTION
"Not only does God occupy the most important place in our prayers, but out of the 150 Psalms that make up the Psalter, there are only seventeen in which God is not mentioned in the very first verse. Constant and most intimate union with God--that is the most salient characteristic of the Psalms."
